Routes, privacy and getting started
Explore the service through the tasks you actually need to do. Select a card to learn more. Assess connection quality, platform policies and your local network separately, and keep plan data allowances distinct from device limits.
If connections slow down during peak hours, it helps to distinguish local network congestion from changes to international routes or slow responses from the destination website. VPNRain offers a choice of international routes so you can compare connection performance in commonly used regions. Keep the client settings consistent, then check page loads, sustained downloads or long-lived connections. Don't treat a single speed test as a complete verdict. If something goes wrong, note the region, route name and circumstances, then contact support through a ticket. Judge stability by whether your actual tasks complete consistently, not by the route name alone.
A privacy policy should explain the service clearly, not rely on vague security claims. VPNRain keeps no logs, and you can create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Read the privacy policy to understand how account and service information is handled. Destination websites may still identify activity based on your logged-in account, browser settings or granted permissions. A network service's privacy practices and a website's data rules are separate; review both, and keep your account password and subscription details safe.
Switching between a work computer, personal devices and home systems doesn't mean you need to split your requirements by device count. VPNRain supports unlimited devices, and you can install a client on supported platforms and get your subscription from the user panel. Note that unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data; manage usage across devices according to your plan. After setup, check the connection and routing settings on each device. If one device has a problem, check its configuration first rather than assuming the whole account is unavailable.
Issues accessing AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude can occur during page loading, account sign-in or ongoing responses. VPNRain provides cross-border connectivity to help you check whether the network path is affecting access. Choose an exit region based on the service regions listed by the tool, and keep your setup consistent during a session. A network connection doesn't replace the platform's account eligibility, paid access or usage rules. If the website works but a plugin doesn't, check its proxy settings too. For a systematic troubleshooting process, see the Complete AI Guide.
Streaming depends on more than whether a website loads. Account region, content licensing, playback device and sustained network performance all matter. VPNRain offers international routes, letting you choose a region based on the streaming platform's requirements and test playback. The platform determines its catalog and picture quality, so an exit region alone can't guarantee either. First confirm your account has viewing access, then check the player message and client connection. If quality drops, assess playback over time and avoid repeatedly switching routes during a session.
When choosing a network service, your devices, typical usage times and experience with destination websites are more useful than the marketing copy alone. VPNRain offers a 7-day refund policy; see the Terms of Service for eligibility and how to apply. After getting started, set up the client and test the websites, tools and playback you use day to day. If you run into an issue, submit a support ticket through the user panel and describe what you did and any error messages. For a refund request, use the panel and keep your order details.
VPNRain supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Find clients and subscription access in the user panel, where you can select instructions for your device instead of searching the marketing pages for installers. Sign in and follow the panel prompts to get the client and subscription. For iOS, follow the availability details shown there. Installation, importing a subscription and connecting are separate steps. After setup, check that the subscription is updated, routes appear and your target apps can connect. If you already use other network tools, check for system proxy conflicts.
VPNRain accepts Alipay, WeChat and USDT. Find payment options in the order flow in the user panel. Before choosing a plan, compare monthly subscriptions with data packs, then check the displayed price, data allowance and billing method. After payment, use the order status and service details in the panel to confirm the result instead of relying solely on an external payment page. If the status hasn't updated, contact support through a ticket with relevant order details. Never share your password or subscription credentials. Follow the checkout page instructions for your chosen payment method.
International routes and region selection
Coverage spans 100+ countries and 150+ routes. The popular regions below are a static reference for route types, not a live availability status. Check the user panel for current route names, cities and configurations.
| Country or region | City | Route type | Streaming availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | Check the user panel | IEPL | Determined by the destination platform |
| Singapore | Check the user panel | Relayed | Determined by the destination platform |
| Japan | Check the user panel | IEPL | Determined by the destination platform |
| Hong Kong | Check the user panel | Direct | Determined by the destination platform |
| Germany | Check the user panel | Relayed | Determined by the destination platform |
Choose a region, then test your tasks
Before choosing a route, check whether the target service has requirements for your account region or exit region. For general browsing, start with a region you use often. For AI tools, streaming or developer APIs, also review the platform's service rules. Geographic distance can help determine what to try first, but it doesn't tell you everything about connection quality. Route type describes how network traffic is routed; it doesn't determine whether a destination website will grant access.
When testing, keep the device, app and task consistent. First check whether a connection can be established, then see whether it remains usable over time. If a website opens but an app doesn't, the app may not be using the expected proxy settings. If one website has issues while other services work, check the destination platform's message. Note the region and the steps that triggered the issue to help with a support ticket—“slow” alone can describe very different problems.

Sign in to get your subscription from the user panel. Choose the client for your device, then install and import it using the panel instructions. For iOS, follow the availability details shown in the panel.
After installation, import your subscription and test the connection
Installing a client doesn't automatically import your subscription. Sign in to the user panel, get the subscription using the instructions for your platform, then confirm that the client has updated its configuration and shows available routes. Connect and test a website you use regularly. If the software reports a configuration error, first check whether the subscription imported completely. Never share subscription details publicly in a forum or screenshot.
When switching between a computer and other devices, system proxy, app proxy and routing settings may differ. A working setup on one device doesn't automatically carry over to another. If you run into a problem, check the client message, then follow the guide step by step. For a support ticket, describe your device platform, which step you're on and the error text. Don't share passwords or subscription credentials publicly as troubleshooting material.
Read the guides, from account setup to connecting →Monthly plans and data packs
Monthly plans suit regular use, with data resetting each month on your activation date. Data packs are for flexible usage: they last until used and never expire. Devices are unlimited, but data remains subject to your chosen plan.
Monthly plan · 60GB
¥9.9/month
A good fit for browsing, research and messaging. Check your actual usage to see whether the allowance works for you.
- 60GB included per month
- Unlimited devices
- 7-day refund policy
Monthly plan · 250GB
¥18/month
For regular use across a range of tasks and switching between devices. Include video and file transfers in your data budget.
- 250GB included per month
- Unlimited devices
- 7-day refund policy
Monthly plan · 500GB
¥28/month
For higher data needs. A larger allowance doesn't guarantee a particular picture quality or platform access, or change device limits.
- 500GB included per month
- Unlimited devices
- 7-day refund policy
When comparing plans, start with how often you use the service, then consider what uses your data. Text-based browsing and continuous video consume data differently; equal time online doesn't mean equal usage. Use the actual figures in your user panel, rather than turning device count directly into a plan size. Monthly data resets on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days; check the service details shown in the panel before confirming the change.
Pay with Alipay / WeChat / USDT. Once you've confirmed your plan and billing method, place the order in the user panel and check its status. The service offers a 7-day refund policy; see the Terms of Service for details. Plan comparisons, client setup and support each have their own section. You can also read the guides before choosing a plan to learn the full process, from creating an account to connecting.

Understand the service rules before troubleshooting a specific setup. Here are some common questions when getting started.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe and avoid reusing the same password on other sites. Get clients and your subscription from the user panel. If you're not sure how to import a subscription, read the guide first, then follow the instructions for your platform.
Does unlimited device support mean unlimited data?
No. Unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data. Monthly plans include 60GB, 250GB or 500GB, and usage across devices still counts toward your plan. To understand your usage, consider file transfers, video playback and background activity on each device, not just time spent browsing.
How do monthly plans and data packs differ?
Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. Data packs last until used and never expire. Ongoing and occasional use call for different approaches, so compare the full plan details before choosing. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. Check the service details before confirming the change.
What if an AI tool or streaming service still doesn't work after connecting?
Check the destination platform's message, then verify your exit region, account eligibility and app proxy settings. A successful client connection only confirms that the client connected; it doesn't guarantee that the destination platform will provide service. Keep your session setup consistent and note whether the issue occurs during sign-in, loading or ongoing responses to help troubleshoot. See the AI Access or Streaming guides for more help.
How do I request a refund or report an issue?
VPNRain offers a 7-day refund policy. See the Terms of Service for application details. Submit support questions and refund requests through the user panel ticket system. Include your device platform, selected route and any error message. Don't share passwords or subscription credentials, and don't place duplicate orders to troubleshoot connection problems.
