This policy covers data processing on the VPNRain marketing website, user panel and subscription service. Information needed to manage an account is separate from network activity. The sections below explain the purposes and limits of data collection and how data can be deleted.
Account and Service Information
You can create an account with a username and password; an email address is not required. Please do not include personal information unrelated to the service in your username or support tickets. If you choose to provide contact details, they will be used only to respond to your inquiry.
The user panel processes account identifiers, login credential verification data, plan status, cumulative data usage and support ticket content to verify your identity, provide subscriptions, calculate data usage and offer support. Cumulative usage helps determine your remaining plan allowance and is not used to reconstruct websites visited or content viewed.
No Logs
VPNRain does not keep logs of the websites users access through the subscription service, browsing or communications content, or connection logs that could be used to reconstruct an individual’s browsing activity. This commitment applies to network activity on the subscription service; it does not mean that account and order records needed to provide the service are deleted.
Temporary session state needed to operate a connection is used only to handle that connection and is not retained as browsing history. Cumulative data usage, plan status and payment results are still processed as needed to operate the service. For troubleshooting, you can provide error messages, your client platform and a description of the issue in a support ticket. Remove subscription credentials and other sensitive information first.
Analytics and Local Storage
Website analytics help us understand page visits, referral categories and entry-point clicks, and check that navigation and pages are working. These analytics relate to the marketing website and user panel entry points. They are not used to collect lists of websites accessed through the subscription service. Do not submit passwords or subscription credentials in analytics events.
Cookies and browser local storage support essential sessions, preserve login status and save language preferences. Analytics may also use cookies to distinguish visits. You can restrict or clear this data in your browser. Clearing login credentials means you will need to log in again, while restricting essential storage may affect panel features. Logging out or clearing local data does not delete your server-side account.
Orders and Third-Party Payments
Order records include the selected plan, amount due, payment status and transaction reference information. They are used to confirm entitlements, reconcile payments and handle refunds. Supported payment methods are Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; available options are shown on the payment page.
Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment service. VPNRain receives the payment result needed to verify an order and does not ask you to submit your payment account password through a support ticket. Data collected and retained by a payment provider is subject to its privacy policy. Check the recipient details and read the relevant information before making a payment.
Data Retention and Deletion
Account information is retained for as long as needed to provide account and subscription services. Order and support records are retained as required to reconcile transactions, handle disputes and comply with applicable laws. Analytics data is processed only for as long as needed for analysis, then deleted or de-identified. This policy does not set a single fixed retention period without confirmation.
Log in to the user panel and submit a request through support tickets to access, correct or delete account-related information. We will verify account ownership before processing a request. Deletion may affect login and subscription use. Records that must be retained by law or due to an unresolved order will be restricted to necessary uses, and we will explain why they cannot yet be deleted. Do not include your account password in a support ticket.
Policy Updates and Contact
VPNRain will update this page and the last-updated month if data purposes, storage methods or processes for handling user rights change. If a change significantly affects how data is processed, we will provide a notice on the website or in the user panel so you can review it before deciding whether to continue using the service.
